Fashion flooded the building at the “Let’s Holiday” event at South Moon Under in Clarendon, Va.  Bloggers and Washington’s best fashionistas gathered to celebrate the fabulous fashions of the season and honor the winners of the “Let’s Holiday” blogger style competition (click here to refresh your memory on the details of the competition from our earlier post.)

The grand prize winner was Carlis Sanchez of the Spicy Candy DC blog, who won a $300 shopping spree at South Moon Under.  Second and third place winners were Mia Settle of Fashion with Me Me and Maria-Alejandra of Alejandra, respectively, who each won $100 shopping sprees.  All three ladies, including fourth place winner Ryan Charbian of Cashmere and Tweed and fifth place winner Lauren Scott of Haute off the Press and other event attendees, will have their competition outfit entries featured in an online look book on the South Moon Under and Refinery 29 websites.

According to Taylor Schlette, who does marketing for South Moon Under, although the competition was stiff, the winners were ultimately chosen based on their creative use of accessories, the degree of holiday festivity in each outfit, originality and the overall look from head to toe.

The event attendees and competition participants, which included Free, a WPGC 95.5 DJ and BET‘s veteran 106 & Park VJ and D. Mdurvwa of Center Magazine, sipped UV Vodka‘s Cranberry Cake cocktails, snacked on Georgetown Cupcakes, 3301 M Street NW, and enjoyed holiday and #1 hits from a live DJ.  Guests also enjoyed a 10% discount on all South Moon Under purchases.  Happy holidays to them!

Congrats, again, winners.  Keep on stylin’.
