Talent manager Eric Podwall teamed up with Spotify to kick-off White House Correspondents’ Dinner weekend with an intimate cocktail party held at Chaplin Restaurant’s Opium Bar and private dinning room. Many celebrities were in attendance, including Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo with his wife Candice Crawford-Romo; musician and former member of *NSYNC JC Chasez; Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner; War Horse actor Jeremy Irvine; X-Men director Bryan Singer; and X-Men: Apocalypse actor Tye Sheridan. This being Washington, many current or former White House aides also made an appearance, including Director of the White House Visitors Office Ellie Schafer, former White House Director of Speech-writing Jon Favreau and Obama’s former “Body Man” Reggie Love. Guests enjoyed Beau Joie Champagne and cocktails crafted by mixologist Chad Spangler, while dining on a Japanese-inspired tasting menu. Of course, Spotify curated a one-of-a-kind soundtrack, with guests contributing their favorite songs to the playlist throughout the evening.
