To celebrate Mother’s Day, Claire Heitzler, head of pastry creations at Laduree, will have innovative new floral and sweet combinations such as a poppy flower pastry ($45, serves six), gift box of six macarons ($24), poppy ice cream topped with a macaron shell ($8.50) and two limited edition macaron flavors – strawberry poppy and Carla lavender ($2.80 per piece). The seasonally-inspired macarons, pastries and ice cream will be available for a limited time, with four special offerings for Mother’s Day. A special brunch on May 13 will offer a sweet and savory brunch fare with champagne, wine or cocktails from Laduree’s recently launched libations menu.
