The New York-based facial bar, Heyday, has recently made a home in Bethesda, Md. And with locations in New York, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia, the Bethesda Row location has brought on estheticians who specialize in a comprehensive, personalized facial treatment fit for anyone’s skin routine.
But don’t go in looking for a pampering spa experience. The industrial, gender-neutral interior is specifically designed for “necessary self-care.” It’s a modernized facial experience strategy that led earlier this year to Heydey raising a Series B round of .
5 million from lead investor Level 5 Capital Partners.
With ongoing mask-wearing and heightened stress and anxiety, the facial shop is tapping into those more attuned to skincare in a “non-intimidating” atmosphere, and curated sessions with semi-private spaces, flexible scheduling, and familiar skincare brands for the 50-minute facial.

As prices vary upon location, each facial costs $135, and additional facial enhancements such as the gua sha, light therapy, microdermabrasion, and a professional peel can be added for $40 each.
Heyday employees and customers are required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
