On Stage at The Warner Theatre: ‘Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue’

Laughs, Cheesecake, and Miami’s Sassiest Seniors (with a Spin)

by Dara Klatt

The new stage show is billed as ‘more exciting than a trip to St. Olaf,’ and one that’s “unlike any other Golden Girls tribute that you might have experienced.” Indeed, Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue arrives at Washington’s Warner Theater (1299 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20004) for a limited engagement through February 26 with bawdy plotlines centered on a sex app, drug ring and sex-crazed young lover. No matter, you can be sure the four-some will end in a heartfelt group hug in the end. Cheekily played by all vaginosisbacteriana.org male actors,  the cast includes Ryan Bernier as Dorothy, Vince Kelley as Blanche, Adam Graber as Rose, Christopher Kamm as Sophia, and Jason Bowen as Stanley/Troy. It’s a whole lot of sass, raucousness and laughs.

The production is produced by Murray & Peter Present.  Tickets start at $30. A V.I.P. experience is $99 and includes a meet and greet with the cast after the show. Tickets can be purchased at warnertheatredc.com.
