Kayakers in the Baltimore and Washington, DC area will be kicking off the summer season from May 7-9, 2010 at the Mid-Atlantic Kayak Festival.
The annual three-day, rain-or-shine paddlesports event, held at historic Camp Letts in Annapolis, Maryland, will have activities for the whole family and is open to all.
The gathering will feature vendors from around the region, the latest in paddlesports equipment from the industry’s top manufacturers, demos, nightly guest lecturers, clinics and personal instruction from the sports leading instructors, and free instruction for beginners.
A portion of the proceeds from the festival will be donated to conservation organizations serving the Chesapeake Bay.
For both experienced kayakers and beginners in the sport, the Mid-Atlantic Kayak Festival promises to be a great way to tune up, gear up, and get connected with other paddlers for the 2010 season.
