Spirits were high and the weather was fine as business men and women, friends, and family gathered at Hotel Tabard Inn for delicious fare and gorgeous atmosphere on a Monday afternoon. Upon entering Hotel Tarbard Inn, guests are welcomed by beautiful furnishings and exquisite antique decor. Just around the corner and up the stairs, hungry diners are lead to an enchanting courtyard. Lush ivy-covered brick walls, beige and forest green umbrellas, and a sheer white parachute sheltering the patio all make for a truly magical setting. Intriguing sculptures and luscious greenery give customers an in-your-own-backyard vibe for an intimate experience.

As if the venue wasn’t enough to entice you, the food is equally fantastic. Distinct menus are given to customers each day which include constant and classic favorites such as the petite duo of BBQ duck sandwiches (divine!) in addition to seasonal specials like the soft-shell crab po’ boy. Servers are attentive and friendly. Take a scenic walk down P Street after dinner for cocktails in Dupont Circle, or stop by a few doors down for gelato at Pitango. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite during the week or lingering over a luscious weekend brunch, Tabard Inn won’t fail to impress.
