Under the gracious patronage of His Excellency, the Ambassador of Malaysia Dato Sri Jalamuldin Jarjis and his lovely wife Datin Sri Dr. Kalsom, Washington International Piano Arts Council (WIPAC ) welcomes all to the annual Fall Gala on November 19 at 6:30pm for Cocktails and time to browse at the Silent Auction tables.
At 7:30pm, guests will be ask to get seated for a Malaysian Embassy cultural presentation followed by piano performance by Viscount Thurston of Baltimore, MD winner of 2010 Festival of Music in DC. at 8:30pm dinner will be served and dancing begins until midnight. To add excitement to the evening, there will be exciting and wonderful items for the LIVE auction from a hideaway in Cabo San Luca, Ca. to the private apartments of Wyndham Hotel in Atlantic City and the very exclusive Key Largo hotel. Proceeds to benefit the 2011 Festival of Music and the 10th Washington International Piano Artists Competition annually held in cooperation with The George Washington University Music Department, the Arts Club of Washington, Mexican Cultural Institute and the Embassies of France, Mexico and Poland.
WIPAC is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit, a grassroots and all-volunteer organization dedicated to promoting and fostering international friendship among nations.
