Want to find family entertainment this holiday season without watching “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” for the hundredth time? Cirque Dreams Holidaze is the answer to your quest. The show will be the first-ever “circus-inspired” performance to play at the Kennedy Center, where it will show from December 7-12. The company behind the production, Cirque Dreams, has a history of providing great entertainment- their previous production, Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy, was a surprise Broadway hit.
Cirque Dreams Holidaze is an original musical telling the story of ornaments that come to life- and perform astonishing acrobatic tricks. From gingerbread men to snowmen, the season’s best known characters will come to life, flipping and twisting before your eyes. Young children are sure to appreciate the plot filled with holiday mystery, and adults are sure to appreciate the physical feats of each performer. The holiday season is always a circus, so why not watch a circus performance designed for the holiday season? Maybe it will make your acrobatic gift-wrapping tasks seem a little less hectic!
