Pieces from the Fall 2011 collection of Manhattan designer Lyn Devon were showcased at a recently private home trunk show in Washington.

Lyn Devon, known as W Magazine’s “new go-to designer for New York’s best-dressed” brought her Fall 2011 collection of luxury sportswear to a private trunk show hosted Sharon Bradley, Susanna Quinn and Mariella Trager.
The event was held at the home of Sharon and Bruce Bradley, with a portion of sales benefiting Refugees International and was the first showing in the DC area. The collection had a classic feel with gray, navy and green bases accented by pops of brighter purple and yellow. These solids were mixed with occasional stripes, ikat designs and geometric patterns found in the long shift dresses, cardigans and drop-waist skirts. A selection of articles from the Spring 2011 collection were also available to view.
Fashionable guests included Cindy Jones, Amy Baier, Nora Pouillon, Jamie Dorros, Cathy Brentzel and Andrea Weisswasser. The polished but relaxed look was fitting for the Washington women who shopped at the event.
