The rooftop of the W Washington DC was transformed into a nightlife scene right out of Miami, but not just for the purpose of partying.  Host and philanthropist Hamed Wardak invited guests to party South Beach-style to help raise awareness about the millions of refugees around the world.

Wardak, a refugee himself when younger, fled with his family from Afghanistan to Pakistan and later went on to attend Georgetown University.

At the party, Wardak sold items from his eco-friendly and South Beach-inspired clothing line Ludus.  All proceeds collected that night were donated to the United Nations Refugee Agency.

In attendance and support of the cause were UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon “Bones” Jones, UFC Octagon Girl Arianny Celeste, and Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad, among many others.
