Bring your home back to life with the help of over 200 exhibitors, experts and resources all available in one place, at the Capital Home Show. At the Dulles Expo Center from September 23 until September 25, renovationistas have the opportunity to gather together and learn the latest and greatest tips, tricks and trends in home design.
“This year the show is focused on using easy techniques with affordable products to get the best results. We have an amazing group of local industry experts all under one roof, all of whom are eager to share tips and tricks,” show manager Alyson Caplan said.

The show includes displays, demonstrations, DIY projects, baking tips, home advice for the holiday and even the creation of a unique sand castle masterpiece by The Sand Sculpting Company.
Celebrities and television personalities will be present, discussing their areas of expertise and showcasing their talents. On Saturday and Sunday, pastry pro and season one winner of Bravo’s “Top Chef: Just Desserts”, Yigit Pura, will be using the latest modern cook- and bake-ware to make the art of pastry creation simple and easy to conquer for pastry chefs of any level.
Do-it-yourself fiends will find themselves in heaven among the projects, displays and HGTV celebrity Sasha Andreev. The host of both “Curb Appeal” and “Decorating Cents” on HGTV, Andreev will visit the Capital Home Show to share his style and remodeling advice.
Are you seeking help beyond your back door?
No fear, gardeners and landscapers, nationally syndicated gardener-writer, host of “Garden Sense” and WTOP’s Gardening Editor Mike McGrath will be a strong presence at the event, sharing his design tricks for both the garden and the home.
Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia, an organization recognized for building a home from nothing, will show its exhibit visitors exactly how to repurpose furniture on a budget.
