Will storm Nemo derail New York Fashion Week? We defer to the Tweeters.
By Rebecca Lathe
New York’s Mercedes Benz Fashion Week kicked off yesterday at Lincoln Center, and those in charge of the eight-day-event are doing everything in their power to prevent storm Nemo from snowing on its parade. We took to the twittersphere to get the inside scoop on whether or not Nemo was in fact putting a damper on the week’s festivities, and were greeted with mixed reviews. On one hand, the numerous tweets gushing about Anna Wintour sightings and the over-the-top glamour of the Jason Wu show make us think that NYFW is prevailing in its battle against Nemo. On the other hand, the claims of snow-blocked streets and a postponed Marc Jacobs show that are currently sweeping the twittersphere leave us wondering what is ahead. Based on these tweets, what are your predictions?
