Cancer Research Foundation of America | Blooming With Promise The Cancer Research Foundation of America (CRFA) recently held its annual spring gala "Amsterdam inBloom: A Celebration of Spring" at the National Building Museum. Over $1.3 million was raisedthroughout the evening to benefit two key CRFA programs: the 21st Century Young Scientist Fund and theCRFA/George Washington University Mammovan. Both programs seek to prevent cancer through research andeducation. In addition to enjoying a sumptuous dinner and dancing, guests toured the Mammovan (the area’sfirst and only mobile mammography facility), which provides free mammograms to uninsured women in theWashington, D.C. area.
