The Washington Chamber Symphony held its annual Fall Benefit on October 27th under the gracious patronage of Ambassador Yuriy Ushakov and his wife Svetlana, at the embassy of the Russian Federation. Joining symphony members were the renowned Tamburitzans, a troupe of dancers, instrumentalists, and singers who performed traditional music of Russia and Eastern Europe. Taking the Golden Age of Russia as its theme, the event also featured a silent auction and raffle with a trip to St. Petersburg from benefit sponsor FinnAir.
