Willard Inter-Continental Holiday Tree Lighting
'Twas the Season for Giving

Willard Inter-Continental General Manager Jean-Jacques Reibel was on hand to light the hotel's holidaytree and kick off a countdown to their third century as a Washington, D.C. landmark, all with the help ofan adorable 4-year-old Make-A-Wish child, Henry Goldberg. The festive evening included costumed carolersfrom Ford's Theatre's production of “A Christmas Carol,” a talented student bell choir from The PotomacSchool in McLean, and champagne sabering by Moet & Chandon atop a pyramid of champagne flutes. Allthrough the evening, donations were made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Inc., an organization that thehotel holds dear to their hearts, as the Willard throughout the year hosts children from around thecountry with life-threatening illnesses.
