American Red Cross Fashion Benefit | "Help Is In Fashion" The American Red Cross National Capital Chapter recently hosted its 5th annual “Help Is In Fashion”Benefit. Keeping with tradition, the evening spotlighted the hidden modeling talents of local celebritieswhen some of the area’s most popular movers and shakers took to the catwalk in style. This year’s modelsincluded Linda Cropp, D.C. City Council Chair; Channel 4 news anchor Debbie Jarvis; District Councilmember Charlene Drew Jarvis; John Derrick, Jr., president and CEO of PEPCO; Channel 7 news anchor CarolCostello; Wendell L. Johns, vice president of Multi Family, Fannie Mae; Elizabeth Lisboa, president ofthe District of Columbia Chamber of Commerce; Marie Johns, president and CEO of Bell Atlantic, D.C.; andLuis Vasquez-Amjac, president of Maya Advertising & Communications.
