The cast of NBC's "The West Wing" mingled with former members of Congress at Bobby Van's Steakhouse GrandOpening Benefit Reception. The invitation-only event benefited the “Congress to Campus” program, whichsends bipartisan teams of former Congress members to nationwide secondary schools and colleges. Castmembers and attendees chatted with owner Joseph Smith, and participated in a live auction that featuredsuch popular items as a walk-on role in an episode of "The West Wing," a show script signed by castmembers, and dinners at the steakhouse with Rob Lowe and Martin Sheen. Guests also enjoyed sampling thedelectable prime beef and fresh seafood in the restaurant’s sophisticated setting.
