This summer ambassadors and representatives from all over the world put on hard hats and rolled up theirsleeves to help the D.C. chapter of Habitat For Humanity build three low income homes in North EastWashington. The three bedroom, one bath homes cost a family anywhere from $35,000 to $70,000. Habitat ForHumanity is dedicated to eliminating poverty housing and has partnered with families to build more than90,000 homes throughout the world at no profit and with zero-interest mortgages.
