| Making a Difference Turkish Ambassador Osman Logoglu andhis wife Mimi hosted this year's gala at theirresidence. In addition to an international winetasting, buffet, and live and silent auctions,there was an exhibition of art work that hadbeen created in AFTA classes at senior daycarecenters. AFTA founder artist Lolo Sarnoff'ssculptures can be found in museums and publicbuildings such as the Kennedy Center and theAir and Space Museum. Proceeds from thegala co-chaired by Nini Ferguson and GuldenSaribas totaled $124,000 and will go towardenhancing AFTA's outreach programs forphysically and psychologically impaired seniors- workshops in painting, sculpture, music,dance, theater and storytelling.
