| Gathering No Moss The September 20th opening of "Rolling Stones 40 x 20"at Govinda Gallery attracted more art lovers than couldpossibly squeeze into the Georgetown gallery, forcingrevelry into the streets as visitors sipped white wine from littleplastic cups. The title of the exhibit (also a newly releasedbook edited by Govinda Gallery owner Chris Murray andWashington Post writer Richard Harrington), is a referenceto the 40 years the Rolling Stones have been together andthe 20 photographers whose work is featured in the book. The opening coincided with the launch of the Stones'smuch anticipated 2002/2003 world tour, presumed to betheir last. A posh affair followed the exhibit opening at theEmbassy Row home of Robert Lehrman, where the eclecticgathering of guests roamed around admiring Lehrman'scelebrated contemporary art work which crowded everywall, table and bookcase.
