| Puttin’ on the Glitz Partygoers donned black-tie attire, glitter and fur for the Choral ArtsSociety’s annual ball, “An Evening of Russian Enchantment,” graciouslyhosted by Ambassador Yuri Ushakov and his wife Svetlana at the Embassyof the Russian Federation. A Christmas concert at the KennedyCenter of seasonal Russian music, including music from the RussianOrthodox Church, popular Russian carols, and traditionalholiday favorites preceded the mid-December gala.
