This year's William Wendt Center Benefit honored Pulitzer Prize-winning authorWilliam Styron, who spoke about his experience with clinical depression. After the lecture, there was anawards presentation in memory of Elizabeth Browning Durrie, followed by an elegant dinner. The WilliamWendt Center for Loss and Healing, formerly known as the St. Francis Center, serves as a resource agencyproviding counseling, education, and volunteer support for people living with life-challenging illnesses,loss, or grief follow-ing a death.
