The National Museum of Women in the Arts' Fall Benefit | A Graceful Evening Guests at this year’s annual National Museum of Womenin the Arts’ Fall Benefit were treated to cocktails and anelegant dinner beneath the enormous chandelier in theMuseum’s Great Hall. Tables were adorned with beautifularrangements of flowers in fall colors, and guests enjoyedthe music of soft violins as they dined. The Benefit fea-tured a special performance by members of the JoffreyBallet. The dancers in this spectacular show, led by ArtisticDirector Gerald Arpino, enticed the audience with theirbrightly-colored costumes and graceful movements. Theproceeds from the evening will benefit The NationalMuseum of Women in the Arts, which is dedicated tobringing recognition to the achievements of women artists,of all periods and nationalities, by exhibiting, preserving,acquiring, and researching art by women, and by educatingthe public about these women's accomplishments.
