The National Capital Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society of recently hosted their 21st
annual Ambassadors Ball. The event provides the perfect opportunity to honor the diplomatic corps for
their support of the many charitable activities and humanitarian endeavors that take place in our
nation’s capital, as well as welcome newly-assigned Ambassadors and their spouses to our city. The
glamorous evening attracts over 120 prominent Ambassadors, distinguished Congressional leaders,VIPs, and
a variety of Hollywood celebrities. This year’s guests included talk-show host Montel Williams, who
recently made public his own MS diagnosis. Guests enjoyed a sumptuous dinner, dancing, and lively
entertainment. Funds raised provide vital research and services to the 5,500 individuals with MS and
their families in the Washington metropolitan area.
