Once Upon A... An Evening of Fashion and Art

Alex Garcia of Alex Designer Consigner hosted an evening of fashion and art at his upscale boutique on Pennsylvania ave late last year. The night kicked off with a cocktail reception hosted by Garcia and Alla Rogers of the Alla Rogers Gallery and featured an exhibit by fashion photographer Yvonne Taylor in collaboration with Lauretta McCoy and Milroy Harried. Stylish guests were treated to stunning mix of avant-garde and turn-of-the-century fashion.

Designer Consigner has evolved into one of the capital's premier boutiques by providing clients with Giorgio Armani, Chanel and Calvin Klein fashions through consignment, as well as new fashions from local designers Mark Dillingham, Sasha Sozonov and Rakiyt Zakari. Proceeds benefited Suited for Change, a D.C. based organization that provides professional clothing and career education to low-income women transitioning from welfare to work.
