The legendary Tony Bennett joined host Bob Johnson of BET in honoring Rep. Charles B. Rangel of New York at BET headquarters in December. An 11-time Grammy winner, Bennett’s astounding 50-year career has spanned three generations and generated the sale of more than 50 million albums. As a humanitarian, Bennett has raised millions for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and is the recipient of the “Salute to Greatness Award” from the Martin Luther King Center in Atlanta for his efforts to fight discrimination.
