Make-A-Wish Foundation Mother/Daughter Tea
and Fashion Show
Tickled Pink with Lilly Pulitzer
Tickled Pink’s brightly colored Lilly Pulitzer frocks made everyone wish it was
summer at the mother/daughter afternoon tea and fashion show at The Fairmont
Hotel on March 27. Prizes were awarded for the best vintage Lilly outfit, and
guests sipped on tea and nibbled finger sandwiches while gushing over the
adorable mother/daughter pairs in the crowd. Celebrity models walking the
runway included ABC’s Kathleen Matthews with her daughter, Caroline; NPR’s
Michelle Norris with her daughter, Aja; and USA Today’s Lauren Ashburn with
her daughter, Juliette. WTOP’s Bob Madigan was the master of ceremonies.
Proceeds benefited Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic, an organization
that fulfills the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
