D.C. Advance Screening of “The Incredibles”
Investing in Our Children

Over 350 children and their parents were treated to an advance screening of the Disney Pixar film “The Incredibles” to benefit Save the Children at National Geographic Headquarters on October 24. A post- premier party treated the families to carnival games and snacks. The event raised over $80,000, thanks in part to benefit chairwomen Patricia Stern and her daughter, Andrea Ferris, and honorary chairs George Stephanopoulos and Alexandra Wentworth. Proceeds benefited Save the Children’s programs, which provide literacy, nutrition and physical activity programs to improve the academic performance and health of impoverished children.
