Knock Out Abuse
Pretty in Pink
Pink roses and candles adorned the Ritz-Carlton Hotel for the annual Knock-
Out Abuse Against Women benefit. Knock-Out Abuse founders Jill Robert
and Cheryl Masri asked Sam Donaldson to serve as host again this year. Big
ticket auction items included a spectacular pink sapphire and diamond ring
from Boone & Sons Jewelers, a trip to Italy courtesy of Versace and a
spa
party for 35 people, courtesy of Toka Salon. The 11 honorees recognized
for their dedication to the cause included Rachel Procter, Roya Kingdom,
Patti Cumming, Franco Nuschese and Norma Ramsey. The event, chaired
by Holidae Hayes, grossed over $450,000 for the House of Ruth, Bethany
House, Crossway Community, My Sister’s Place and N Street Village.
Following the event, the well-dressed crowd was joined by the men of Fight
Night for a lively night of dancing to the disco band.
