David Boies Book Party Ted Olson, Margaret Carlson and George and Trish Vradenburg hosted a
book signing and reception at the Phillips Collection on November 30 for
their friend David Boies in honor of his tremendously successful best seller, “Courting Justice.” Known for his landmark cases, “New York Yankees v.
Major League Baseball,” “United States v. Microsoft” and “Bush v. Gore,” Boies’ work also gives readers a rare glimpse of the author’s boyhood in
small-town Illinois, and adolescence on the streets of Compton, to his brief
career as a cardshark, his lifelong fight with dyslexia and the lessons he
learned in law school. |
