The Washington Ballet Jete Society’s
Dance Party
Four Hours, Four Decades
Young supporters of The Washington Ballet hosted an outrageous dance
party at the French embassy on February 5. The “four hours, four decades” theme inspired an eclectic mix of attire from various decades, from
bellbottoms and tie-dye to guests in afros. Once again, the dancers wowed
guests with a fun and funky performance on the dance floor, helping to
raise $40,000 for the ballet’s DanceDC program that introduces school
children to language arts and movement through ballet. The Jete Society
brings together a crowd of young professional ballet aficionados to enjoy
performances and hip and chic events year-round.
