Decade Society 26th Annual Gala Parisian Nights
Parisian Nights
The Decade Society held its 26th annual ball and charity auction at the
Stephen Decatur House on March 19. Well-dressed guests partied to
the sounds of the TFC Band while celebrating this year’s theme, “Parisian
Nights.” The Decade Society is a group of young professionals who
have been raising money to support local charities since 1979. This year,
the society’s grant was awarded to Fair Chance, which provides support
to children and families living east of the Anacostia River. Fair Chance’s
founder, Amanda Taylor Marshall, was one of Washington Life’s 2004
Women of Substance and Style.
