THE EVENT
Peruvian Ambassador Eduardo Ferrero and his wife, Veronica
hosted a reception for Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Florez, who made his debut
with the Washington National Opera in its performance of L' italiana in Algieri.
THE SCENE
Guests sipped on Pisco Sours, the national drink of Peru, and enjoyed
a medley of traditional Peruvian dishes.
