THE EVENT
Senators and Cabinet members
giving Michel Richard a run for his money by
cooking and serving their favorite recipes such
as Rep. Fred Upton's "Michigan Apple Walnut
Pate." Local celebrity judges including Paul
Zucconi of La Colline and Roger Wiles of The
Historic Georgetown Club. Highest honors
went to Rep. Todd Tiahart's "Aloha Wichita"
and Rep. James Sensenbrenner, Jr.'s "Farmers'
Napoleon."
THE SCENE
Guests mingled with
members Congress at twenty serving stations
before sitting down to a formal dinner. The
event, which raised over $1.2 million, supported
"Mama & Baby Bus" a program for free prenatal
and dental care to underserved pregnant
women in Washington.
