Celebrity fashion photographer and America’s Next Top Model judge Nigel Barker was out and about in D.C., meeting with dignitaries and promoting his newest book Nigel Barker’s Beauty Equation. Nigel began his afternoon in the District by having tea at Sri Lankan Ambassador Jaliya Wickramasuriya‘s residence with the ambassador and his daughter. Later in the evening, Nigel hosted an invite-only, Washington Life exclusive event at I Street lounge Eden with co-owners Vinoda Basnayake, Andre De Moya, Charles Zhou and Kunal Shah. Nigel took to the floor to discuss the inspiration behind his latest endeavor, Nigel Barker’s Beauty Equation, a guide to inner beauty that breaks down today’s notions of what’s beautiful. Guests enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres and drinks, while lining up to meet with the famed photographer. Bravo Real Housewives of D.C.’s Lynda Erkiletian, FOX 5’s Will Thomas, Luxxery’s Hiba Hakki, Andre Wells Events’ Andre Wells, KStreetKate’s Kate Michael, Design Army’s Pum Lefebure and ABC 7’s Natasha Barrett were among the evening’s guests. Nigel capped the night with a late dinner at seafood hotspot Hook in Georgetown with a few friends, ordering the restaurant’s Ahi Tuna entree.
