The District Sample Sale, deemed a “fashionable charitable event,” will feature over 20 of Washington’s premiere clothing and shoe boutiques, all selling their items at stylishly slashed prices, with savings up to 90%. The event will feature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from local restaurants, as well as a silent auction and a raffle.

A turnout of over 700 shoppers is expected. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at www.districtsamplesale.com. General Admission is $40, VIP tickets are $100, and Benefactress sponsor tickets are $250. Benefactress and VIP guests will be allowed private access to the sale from 5:30-6:30 for an extra hour of shopping.

“The VIP tickets are a hot commodity,” says Liberty Jones, one of the five District Sample Sale founders. “The ability to shop without the crowds get first crack at the sale, and get the paperless goodies bag make the ticket price a bargain.”

Participating boutiques include Caramel, Poppy & Stella, Sassanova, Urban Chic, Wink, and more. All the profits from the sale will benefit CityDance Early Arts, a program that provides arts education to underprivileged communities around DC.
