Just when we thought the W Hotel couldn’t get any more chic, Michaelangelo L’Acqua is appointed as the hotel’s first Music Director. From gracing the music of the catwalk’s of Yves Saint Laurent and Gucci to DJing at one of the world’s most chic and modern hotels, L’Acqua has a world of experience. WL had the pleasure of holding an exclusive interview and attending the W D.C.‘s live DJ set on the rooftop lounge with Michaelangelo himself. Symmetry, Michaelangelo’s new CD, played throughout the evening exemplifying the sounds for W Hotels around the world. Fashionistas, power-players, and a-listers from around the District gathered to sip cocktails, nibble on hor d’oeuvres, and dance all night to the sounds of L’Acqua and the Golden Filter.
