Keep cool during the hottest part of the summer at a wine and cheese happy hour at The Ritz-Carlton.

Sometimes the sweltering heat and humidity of Washington can get to be too much. Between the blistering sun and the thick, muggy air, a girl just wants to escape into a dark, swanky air-conditioned getaway and…
eat cheese? Yup, all you can eat cheese, to be exact.
The Ritz-Carlton is offering All You Can Eat Cheese Presentation of five artisan cheeses with assorted breads, rolls, and crackers for $12. The cheeses range from soft to hard, goat to cow, and pair perfectly with organic and sustainable Napa wines by the glass: Frog’s Leap Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, and Domaine Carneros Pinot Noir and Sparkling Wine, each for only $10 a glass. The cheeses and breads are paired perfectly with assorted olives and make for the perfect vegetarian cheese platter.
So put those sunglasses in your purse and hide away among the plush couches and cool leather armchairs of the Ritz and take a wine and cheese breather.
The All You Can Eat Cheese Presentation is available at both D.C. Ritz locations, Foggy Bottom”s M Street hotel (1150 22nd Street Northwest) and the Georgtown location (3100 South Street Northwest).
