The years have been sweet to UGG Australia. The brand, most famous for its signiture furry boot, first exploded onto the fashion scene six years ago and hasn’t stopped growing since. 2010 is an especially exciting year for the brand as they launch a collaboration with Jimmy Choo– a designer famous for a very different sort of footwear- and debut a store in Georgetown, only the seventh location to open in the US.

At an exclusive grand opening party to celebrate the Georgetown store, VIP Washingtonians sipped cocktails, munched on Georgetown Cupcakes, and previewed the entire 2010 UGG Australia collection. Guests were awed by the different directions the shoes will take this year- the styles garnered more conversation than the guest list! After dancing the night away to the beats of DJ Neekola, the cozy comfort of UGG shoes was a plus for guests with a long trek home.

Guests welcomed UGG Australia to DC with very open arms- attendees had nothing but praise for the brand. Up next? A preview of the Jimmy Choo and UGG collaboration later this month- we know we’ll be there!
