Guests dined on milk and cookies at this “Bedtime Bash” gala to benefit Starlight Children’s Foundation.
BEDTIME BASH: Pajamas were not in attendance, but hundreds of tuxedo-clad believers were as chairs Andrea Kaufman and Robin Moore orchestrated the 11th annual gala for the Starlight Children’s Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic. The event, held at the Four Seasons, hosted true supporters of the charity, which is dedicated to lifting the spirits of seriously ill children and their families.
The event raised over 0,000 from ticket sales, sponsorships, and both silent and live auctions- which featured hot ticket items like a 1900 vintage bottle of Chateau Margaux, as well as trips to the Kentucky Derby and a Jamaican resort.
The evening also honored the longtime patronage of Rick Genderson, who has shown the charity years of dedicated support. Though bedtime was the theme, the décor was a far cry from flannel sheets and bunny slippers.
The Four Seasons ballroom was sheathed in floor-to-ceiling white curtains, and oversized candelabras accompanied a delicate flower arrangement on each table. In keeping with the spirit of the evening, attendees enjoyed a dessert of milk and cookies.
SLEEPY-EYED DONORS: The dreamy guests of the evening festivities included John Fahey, Amy and Tripp Donnelly, Amy and Bret Baier, Kristen and Nels Olson, Norah O’Donnell and Geoff Tracy, Lauri and Jeffrey Zell, Kirsten and Dave Pollin, Liz and Paul Dougherty, Mark Ein, Deborah and Bobby Ourisman, and Sharon Dougherty, among many others dedicated to this worthy cause.
