Chanel, Prada, and Gucci for a fraction of the price? Count us in.

Since 1986, D.C.’s Secondi consignment boutique has been racking up high-end apparel for less, serving as a haven for designer-hungry women all over the area. The business, which is located in Dupont Circle, offers “like new” designer pieces generally priced at a third or less of the original price.
The shop has generous guidelines for both the consigner and the customer. Consigners receive 50 percent of the selling price, after the item sells. Each month, items are marked down 20 percent, regardless of designer or price. Some items that miraculously survive on the floor for a number of months may be donated to D.C. charity, Bread for the City.
The store has a wide collection of designer jeans, dresses, and business-wear. In addition to clothing, Secondi also has a number of designer handbags, such as Louis Vuitton and Chloé , most of which are in excellent condition.
Whether you’re looking for a pair of J. Crew slacks or that perfect pair of Louboutin pumps, Secondi caters to a wide-spectrum of shopper’s needs at competetive value.
