The much-anticipated Washington Winter Show begins this week at the Katzen Art Center at American University with a champagne reception.

From across the U.S. over 40 premier art dealers will gather to showcase fine art and antiques in the District for the Washington Winter Show, Georgetown: Over 200 Years of Style, at the Katzen Art Center at American University from January 6-9, 2011. Events and lectures will also treat guests, including an opening night party with patron’s champagne reception on Thursday, January 6th at 5:30pm and Sunday morning’s Antiques Road Show-type opportunity to have verbal appraisals by top dealers. Debbie Winsor and Kate Chartener serve as co-chairs, which benefits Starlight Children’s Foundation, The Bishop John T.
