The DC Travel and Adventure show dives into it’s 7th year as the longest running series of consumer travel events in the US! This year the show will be held on Saturday March 12th and Sunday March 13th at the Washington Convention Center. There will be expert travel legends speaking about experiences, insider advice given and cultural performances held to help attendees find their perfect vacation. When arriving into the Convention Center, guests will be transported to countries all over the world through dance and music on Global Beats Stage, sponsored by the World Heritage Culture Center. Attendees traveling with a family will have nothing short to do with the 18,000 gallon scuba pool where free scuba lessons will be given and even an indoor aerial zip line will be installed.
For the not so adventurous, there will be culinary demonstrations by local restaurants, Embassy chefs and Mark DeCarlo, host of Taste of America on the Travel Channel, will demonstrate at the Culinary Stage. The Main stage will feature travel experts such as Samantha Brown, from the Travel Channel, and Peter Greenberg, who is the travel Editor for CBS News. Exhibits from destinations domestically and internationally will be providing unique travel options and tons of information.
Tickets for this event are only $9 with the promo code DCPR online. Tickets will also be sold at the door for $15, and children under 16 will be granted entry for free.
