ZooFari presented by the Friends of The National Zoo just may be the “foodie event of the year,” with this year’s lineup featuring more than 100 of the area’s top restaurants. This year’s event takes place on Thursday, May 19, from 6:30-9:30 pm at the Zoo.
Throw in fine wines, fabulous entertainment, animal demonstrations, and a great silent auction – all in the wild setting of the Smithsonian’s National Zoo – and you have the recipe for a delicious evening.
This year FONZ is offering a special way to enjoy ZooFari, with access to an exclusive lounge area on Lion/Tiger Hill.
In addition to everything included with your ZooFari ticket, ZooFari Lion Lounge tickets include the opportunity to watch the Zoo’s seven lion cubs while you enjoy D.C.’s finest cuisine.
Tickets are on sale now for $200 apiece ($150 for FONZ members) or $300 apiece for the Lion Lounge ($250 for FONZ members). About 65% of each ticket is tax deductible.
Tickets include everything longtime attendees love about ZooFari—the food, the fun, and, of course, the wine. Plus, there’s no shortage of live entertainment, from music to cooking demonstrations.
