The second annual White House Pet’s Correspondence Benefit brought together democrats, republicans and their four-legged friends.  The animal-friendly affair with Wendy and Lucky Diamond was held Art & Soul hosted by Animal Fair.  Many of the pets came dressed to show their patriotic side and enjoyed treats from a pooch patio menu that included 3 oz./6oz. steaks, granola treats and a non-alcoholic bowser brew.  The benefit celebrated Pets2Vets, founded by David Sharpe, which connects healing the lives of veterans experiencing PSPD by pairing them with a sheltered pet.

Special guests included Sophie LaMontagne and Katherine Kallinis from TLC’s DC Cupcakes, John McLaughlin, Adam Falkoff, Peter Mirijanian, Christa Ventikos, John McCaslin, Angie Goff and Cheryl Romero.
