World-famous Nuit Blanche brings a whole new French-flavored art experience to the District.

On June 8th, The Embassy of France will host the official launch of the first-ever Art All Night: Nuit Blanche DC, the city’s unique take on the famous Parisian art experience. The all-night extravaganza promises guests a satisfying cultural adventure, of which the agenda will include a live performance, presentations on the main festival (which is to take place in September), and an array of one-of-a-kind art pieces.
And of course, such an event would not be complete without some bubbly and tiny hors d’oeurve for guests to snack on while taking all of this in– thank you, Café Bonaparte!
As the direct translation for “White Night”, Nuit Blanche is more commonly used to describe an “all-nighter”, which is definitely more fitting for this event given its nature. With events all over the world in cities such as Madrid, Toronto, Tel Aviv, New York and Miami, Nuit Blanche is set to grace DC with its artsy exhibit. Art All Night: Nuit Blanche is to be the first of its kind for DC’S art lovers and politico aficionados alike– an exploration and celebration of contemporary art, if you will. The Event will begin at 6:30pm at the Embassy located on 4101 Reservoir Rd on the evening of June 8th.
