At the end of Lanvin’s Womenswear show, a parade of little girls took to the runway to show the new children’s line.  From the sneak preview in this link, it might be worth the money – even if finger paint gets on it.

…and for that slightly older demographic, it was announced on Tuesday that Versace is creating an H&M line.  Get a sneak preview here.

The weeks are rolling on and resort collections for 2012 are still rolling in.  Below is your new list of show recaps to browse.

With womenswear resort shows winding down, it’s time for the men’s shows to begin.  Below are the first to show their 2012 collections.

…and speaking of runway shows, Full-Figured Fashion Week was sold out last week as a swarm of women clamored to see the looks and buy the pieces.  Said one attendee, “We have money to spend and we finally have somewhere to spend it.”

With Fashion Councils around the world, gearing up for their next round of fashion weeks in the fall, the British Fashion Council is seeking to expand theirs.

… and with fall just a few months away, Tom Ford has finally released his 2011 Fall Collection (which no one has seen, since his show at London Fashion Week), via video. See the collection here.

From June 17th through October 2nd, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts will showcase the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit.  Get an exclusive first look of his exhibit here.

Angeline Jolie isn’t the only megastar to become a spokesperson for a mega brand.  Tobey Maguire has been tapped to be the new face of Prada menswear.

It has been announced that Salvatore Ferragamo is to go public on June 29th with about 25 percent being put up on the Milan Stock Exchange.  But the verdict is still out on whether fashion brands can raise what they are seeking by going public, as with Prada – their official share price is lower than they expected on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

For decades we have been silkscreening clothing with all sorts of pictures, designs and the like but what about furnitureMary Katrantzou takes incredible photographs from photography legends and silkscreens them on everything from her fashion line to couches and chairs.
