Virgin Atlantic celebrated 15 years of crossing the pond from Washington DC to London with a bash worthy of Howard Hughes.

Those Brits sure know how to celebrate an anniversary in style. After 15 years of flying over 1.
9 million passengers from Washington, D.C. to London, Virgin Atlantic certainly has reason to kick up it’s heels. And kick it did- with a bash to remember at Lincoln Restaurant.
The evening was a stylish event worthy of famed aviator Howard Hughes, complete with a Virgin Atlantic upper class red carpet and some gorgeous flight attendants mingling with the guests in their Virgin Atlantic uniforms.
A love for all things British was apparent in the event’s decor, which included plenty of Union Jack images and the iconic British beverage, Pimms Cup.
But despite plenty of entertaining elegance, the highlight of the party came when celebrity DJ Solange Knowles stepped up to the Virgin Atlantic turntables. While she demonstrated her prowess for mixing and scratching, there wasn’t a still foot on the dance floor.
Guests could almost imagine they were across the ocean at London’s famed hot spot, The Ministry of Sound.
We bet the night of British elegance inspired quite a few trips to the old country…on Virgin Atlantic of course!
