New York’s-own Crumbs Bakery is bringing a taste of the big city downtown to 17th street.

Because we are a town with cupcake shops few and far between, (not like we have our own show on TLC or anything…) the Big Apple’s Crumbs Bakery has decided to set up a second shop in the land of Obama and icing. On October 21st, eggs will be cracked and ovens switched on for Crumbs serve their colossal signature cakes – I hesitate to use “cup” because these desserts are anything but tiny.
For their grand opening, the humble-ish bakeshop will be handing out free cupcakes to the first 1,000 customers. And until the 31st, they’ll be pouring you a complimentary cup of joe with any bakery purchase.
Sound like a good deal? Just wait ’til you see the cupcakes.
